Schedule
This program totals 60 hours of coach-specific training. There are additional requirements beyond class sessions. See "Program Requirements" below. (For a shorter, 2-3 day coach training see our "Leader As Coach" Workshop.)

In-person training 5 days 8:30 – 6:00 daily
25-29 February 2008 in Japan.
Interactive training using a variety of learning styles. Plenty of practice is incorporated into the schedule.

TeleClasses six times, every two weeks for 2 hours.
Group training sessions done over a normal telephone. You will call a number in the USA and be connected with other participants. The six two-hour calls consist of interactive teaching, discussion, demonstration and role plays. Full descriptions are here.

Lodging is not included in your program fees. Please make your own arrangements. Contact us for a list of recommended places to stay.

Travel
Fly into Tokyo (airport code: NRT). Plan to arrive anytime 24 Feb. and depart 1 March. The program begins 8:30am 25 Feb. and ends 6:00pm 29 Feb. Please do not schedule flights that will make you arrive late to the Program or leave early.

Exchange money at the airport (the rate is fine) and take a bus or train to Tokyo. It should cost about ¥2000 to ¥3000 and take 70 mins.

Prerequisites
A desire to coach others in a must! Participants are expected to complete all the course requirements. If at this time you are not willing or able to commit the required effort to the development of your coaching skills, consider waiting for another session when your schedule can accommodate.

Program Requirements
The program is designed to best prepare you to gain the skills and knowledge needed to coach well. You must be prepared to focus on developing your coaching skills for a number of months in order to meet these requirements.

  • Attend all class sessions*.
  • Complete a core coaching skills self-evaluation.
  • Coach at least three people for a minimum total of 25 hours (details).
  • Complete coaching practicum assignments.

You have 18 months from the beginning of the course to complete the requirements.

* Missing more than 10 minutes of a session is considered an incomplete hour that would need to be made up privately. Sessions may be made up privately at a rate of US$50 per hour.

Certificates
After successfully completing all requirements of the Coaching Core Skills Certificate Program, you will receive a certificate from Creative Results Management (CRM) recognizing your accomplishment.

This material and these concepts are the intellectual property of Keith E. Webb and CRM. Your participation in this program and payment of fees entitles you to participate in this training and to use and retain these materials. You may use and make copies of any of these materials for use with your coaching clients as long as you make no changes or deletions of any kind, and include the copyright statement below.

You may not repackage this program without express written authorization and royalty payment. If you lead a workshop or develop or deliver a program to a group or company based on or including this material or these concepts, authorization and fees are required.

International Coach Federation (ICF) Credentials
The Coaching Core Skills Certificate Program is not ICF accredited. This program is designed to meet or exceed ICF standards based on ICF Core Competencies, but does not guarantee ICF acceptance. You may apply for ICF credentials through the Portfolio Track. CRM will provide needed course documentation.

Cancellations
Creative Results Management reserves the right to cancel a program for any reason including if there are insufficient registrations and to refund fees paid directly to CRM by registrants for that program.

Refunds
The payment of Fees represents a commitment to your training as a coach. Creative Results Management has a 60/30 day refund policy. If you wish to withdraw from a program you must inform Creative Results Management in writing. If we receive your notification more than 60 days before your registered event, your fee or deposit will be refunded, less a $100 USD administration fee. If we receive your notification within 30 to 59 days before your registered event, 50% of your fee or deposit will be refunded. No refunds will be considered within 30 days of the event, although you may transfer your registration to a different person to attend the same event.
