The COACH Model is a five step guide to a coaching session. Created by Dr. Keith E. Webb, the COACH Model Card is easy to use. Each COACH Model Card folds in half to the size of a business card fitting easily in your wallet or purse.

Outside and inside

The COACH Model Card outlines the progression of a coaching session and includes helpful questions to move a coachee ahead. Newly revised, you can choose from multiple questions for each step. Here's a sample:

Connect: How have you been?
Outcome: What results would you like to take away from our meeting today?
Awareness: Tell me about the situation.
Course: What options do you have?
Highlights: What was particularly helpful?
