Steve is an internationally known trainer, coach, and consultant on starting new churches. He is an early pioneer in the field of coaching, having coauthored Empowering Leaders Through Coaching in 1995. He also coauthored the popular Church Planter’s Toolkit. The bulk of Steve's time is spent coaching leaders and he is a frequently conference speaker in the USA.
Steve, his wife Jane three sons and 2 dogs live in Rural Southern California.
Education
Steve has a Doctor of Ministry in Transformational Leadership from Bakke Graduate University in Seattle Washington. He holds Bachelor of Arts with Majors in Psychology and Religion from Azusa Pacific University, and a Master of Arts from Talbot. He is a graduate of the Core Coaching Skills Certificate Program and a member of the International Coaching Federation.
Diversions
Steve has provided leadership in local volunteer settings including the YMCA and Boy Scouts of America. Steve's other interests include cars, reading, beach camping, football and jazz music.
